I'm not going to sugar coat it for you... Relationships are hard... like really hard... even in the best of situations, it's still hard.  There are so many different styles of communication & people can look at the same situation and come up with totally different opinions about that situation.  Our life experiences filter how we see the world & others around us. 

   So why do we do it? Why do we continue to put ourselves through the hardships of relationships, especially long term relationships that come fraught with it's own rewards & perils?  It's because we as humans crave human interaction, touch, & intimacy & when it's good, it's really good.  Engaging in the play that we do & finding our tribe is so amazingly fabulous.  We can finally feel like we fit in, like we are among friends.

   So my advice for you in regards to this episode:  Don't give up!!  There are many people in the scene & just keep going to events & you will continue to meet your fellow kinksters.  In time, you will find lots of someones who are good mates for you.
